Angela Harrison, MLS

My journey began in 2003 when I had the extraordinary opportunity to volunteer as an emergency medical technician. This experience kindled a profound passion for the healthcare industry and ignited my unwavering determination to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others. As I reflect on the past two decades, I find that my enthusiasm for healthcare has only deepened.

I have been privileged to work in a variety of challenging and rewarding settings, including the emergency room, geriatric primary care, oncology, pharmaceutical (DME), and endodontics. Each role has not only enriched my clinical skills but has also allowed me to transition into administrative functions within the industry. These diverse experiences have further solidified my commitment to patient care and reinforced my aspiration to make a significant difference in people’s lives.

After earning my Master of Legal Studies degree from American University, Washington College of Law, with a focus on business and compliance, I eagerly embraced the opportunity to expand my horizons in Longwood University's MBA program.

My mission is both clear and resolute: to empower small and medium-sized healthcare entities to expertly navigate the intricate and ever-evolving regulatory landscape. I am dedicated not just to helping great medical professionals and entities survive but to enabling them to thrive in this competitive environment, ensuring they can unlock their full potential and continue to effect positive change in their communities.
